Brenda Gail (Wright) Hope

Brenda Gail Hope, 77, of Cherryville, NC went home to be with the Lord, February 12, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was married to Jimmy H. Hope and daughter of the late Lloyd Wilbur Wright and Ollie Mae Wright.

Born in Gaffney, SC, she was a past member of Eastside Baptist Church and loved listening to the broadcasts of Cornerstone Baptist Church. She was a CNA, loved her family, enjoyed gardening, cooking and making things pretty.

In addition to her husband, Jimmy, left to cherish her memory are her son, Jimmy Travis Hope (Heather) of Cherryville, NC, her brothers Larry Wright (Annette) of Blacksburg, SC and Leonard Wright of Kings Mountain, NC along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Phillip Gregory Patterson, brothers Don Wright and Jerry Wright and a sister-in-law, Mary Wright.

A Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 7:30 - 8:30 pm at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at 1:00 pm at Mountain Rest Cemetery, 111 S Dilling St., Kings Mountain, NC with Paul Cash officiating.
